Terms of sale

First of all

Saber-Hacer is a company being set up and sells nothing yet. These terms explain how it will work when it opens and may change before then. In the demo, payments are tests and nothing is charged.

Who sells

Each workshop, piece or commission is offered by the artisan named on the listing. Saber-Hacer is the platform that presents it, takes the payment and transfers it to the artisan, less its commission.

Prices and payment

Prices include any applicable taxes. You pay by card through Stripe when you book or buy. Commissions are paid in two parts: a deposit when you accept the quote and the rest when the piece is ready.

Workshops: cancelling a booking

Up to 7 days before: a full refund.

Between 7 days and 96 hours before: a credit for what you paid, valid one month with the same artisan.

In the last 96 hours: no refund or changes.

For groups and private workshops the windows are doubled: 14 days and 8 days.

If the artisan cancels, you choose between a full refund and a credit valid 6 months.

As leisure activities on a set date, workshops carry no 14-day right of withdrawal (art. 103.l of the Spanish consumer protection law).

Pieces: shipping, returns and guarantee

You can return an in-stock piece within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason (art. 102). We refund you once the artisan confirms they have it back.

Pieces carry a 3-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity (art. 120).

Commissions

Commissioned pieces are made to your specification, so they carry no right of withdrawal (art. 103.c). Before paying the deposit you receive a quote with the timing and price.

When the artisan marks the piece as delivered, you have 7 days to confirm it or tell us about a problem.

Gift cards

They are valid for one year from purchase, across one or several bookings. You can check the balance on the gift card page.

Complaints and governing law

Write to marion@saber-hacer.com and we will reply within 14 days. Spanish law applies; if you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts where you live or your regional consumer office.
